1.What item do you personalized?
We can personalized Kalimba, Ukulele, Lyre and many other gifts (mainly wooden, leather, PU and acrylic material) by engrave black and white visual or text. After you have place your order you will receive an order confirmation email.
2.How to provide engraving details?
If you have chosen the option to personalized your music instrument, we will send you email asking what do you want to engrave. You can send us what wording or sentence or quote that you want and choose from the font list below or we can select the best font for you. Or else, you can send us black and white example below for visual or wording (JPEG/PNG/AI/Phototshop also can, you can even send us google image link as well).
If you purchase other personalized gifts, there will be option to choose font, write details and even upload photos at the product page. We will also send you the draft design.
3. Will you show a preview or draft design of the engraving?
Yes for most of the products, to ensure our customer’s satisfaction, we will show you draft design for the placement before engrave so that you have an idea of the outcome and still able to make a changes before we engrave. Usually the end result will have 80-90% similar to the draft but not 100% is because the design is shown using designing software and not 100% representing the final result. Please check your email or Whatsapp for the draft design, if we have not receive feedback and confirmation from you, the order may be delayed.
For some smaller products with word engraving we might not show draft design and ask for confirmation before engrave because smaller item the engraving location is fix.
4. Can I tell you what I want and you design it for me?
We are not professional designer hence we can only do simple combination and removal but not design from scratch. Kindly look for ready-design artwork online and send to us.
5. The wood itself got uneven color, is it defect?
Natural wood may feature differences in knots, color, texture hence is completely unique and this is not defect.
6. I requested the engraving to be centered, why it doesn’t centered 100%?
Every engraving is measured and adjusted by human being every time, we promise that we will try our best to centered it for you but human measurement might not be 100% accurate every time.
7. I ordered 2 units of similar products, why the engraving color is different?
Because it is natural wood, there will be differences in terms of the part of the wooden, grain and texture of the wood. Therefore you might notice some places of the engraving darker while some lighter, and these are beyond our control.
8. What kind of image looks better for engraving?
Image with high resolution and obvious black color outline will look the best. Human portrait might be convert to line drawing image for better outcome.
